Initially
started as a simple filter-based photo sharing application, Instagram has
emerged as a massive platform not only for common users but also for serious
business professionals out there. So, if
you use different Instagram accounts for different purposes, then it’s
essential to effectively manage multiple accounts on Instagram.
Few months back, the company added a new feature to its app, which allows users to add up to 5 accounts from the same app, on both Android and iOS. If you want to manage multiple accounts on Instagram from a single device, here’s how to do it.
Manage
multiple Instagram accounts
1.
To add an account, go to your Instagram profile page, tap on the Settings at the top-right corner.
Then, scroll down and look for the Add
accounts option
2.
After clicking the option, you’ll be taken to a login screen to add another
account. Just enter the username and password of the account you want to
create.
3.
Once you’re done with setting up multiple accounts, you can easily switch
between them by tapping on your username at the top of the screen and then choosing
the account you’d like to manage.
4.
Alternatively, you can also switch to different accounts by holding over the
profile icon in the bottom right of the screen. Then you’ll see a list of all
your Instagram accounts, and from here you can easily manage multiple accounts
on Instagram.
5.
Instagram will display the profile picture of the account you are currently
using, to make it easier for you to manage multiple accounts on Instagram.
6.
In case you want to remove an account, you can switch to the profile you want
to remove and head to Settings,
and then tap Log out of
[username] to successfully log out of that account.
Besides
Instagram, logging into multiple accounts is allowed in many social media
platforms like Twitter and Facebook. Here’s to hope that you’ll find the above
guide really useful and try managing your multiple accounts on Instagram.
