Transfer contacts from Android to iOS
  1. Using Gmail

Every Android user must be having a Gmail account. With Gmail it’s really easy to sync all your contacts to it. Just go to Settings > Accounts > Google > Sync Contacts to sync all your contacts to your Gmail address book account.

Once you’re done, head to Settings > Mail, Contacts and Calendars > Add Account, on your iPhone. At last, select Google and sign-in to your Google account. From here, you can easily transfer Android contacts to iOS. Make sure you have ‘Contacts’ enabled in the settings before making the transfer.
  1. Through native Contacts app

Open the native contacts app on your android device and hit Import/Export from more options. In here, you can export all/some of your contacts to VCF file, which you can then use to transfer Android contacts to iOS.
  1. With Move to iOS app

Apple has a dedicated app that makes migration of contacts from Android phone to an iPhone a breeze. You can download the Move to iOS app for your Android smartphone from Google Play store and you may have to reset your iPhone device before making the transfer.

When you initially set up the iPhone, an ‘Apps and Data’ window will be displayed. Here you’ll need to select ‘Move Data from Android’. After that, you’ll receive a 10-digit code which needs to be entered on the Android device from which you wish to transfer contacts. Once both devices are synced, you can move whichever contacts you want to transfer.
  1. Use third party apps
There are a bunch of third-party apps that can be used to transfer Android contacts to iOS. Make sure the particular app works on both iOS and Android.

Simply export contacts to a VCF file and send it to your email address. Then, all you need is to open the email on your iPhone and download the VCF file. This will directly import contacts to your iPhone device.

If you prefer to transfer contacts without having to use your old SIM, then go for the Gmail method. In case you want to move everything, including photos and music, then use the Move to iOS app. You can follow any one of the above mentioned methods you feel is most convenient for you
